Sena leaders meet mayor on open space policy
Raj Thackeray News: A delegation of Shiv Sena leaders including Ramdas Kadam, former opposition leader in the Assembly and legislator Subhash Desai met Mayor Shraddha Jadhav in the civic head office to discuss the open space development policy.
According to them, the new policy, which allowed Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to develop the Wankhede stadium, should apply to them as well.
The reason for this is that there are many plots which had been allotted to Shiv Sena-Bharatiya Janata Party leaders, when their coalition was ruling in the state between 1995-1999, which they have not been able to develop because of the old policy.
After a meeting with the mayor, Vinod Ghosalkar Sena, legislator from Dahisar said, “There are 15-16 plots which were given to private parties before 2006.
